August: All the Birds in the Sky

We hope you’ll join us in August as we read Charlie Jane Ander’s All the Birds in the Sky.

Patricia Delfine has magical powers and can speak to birds; Laurence Armstead is a genius who has just invented a time machine.  They knew each other as kids and have only been recently reunited.  In the face of a series of global catastrophes, will they figure out how to use their gifts to save the world?

We’ll be meeting at 3pm on Friday, August 19th in State Hall 326.  We’ll have homemade goodies, lively discussion and plenty of fiber arts fun.

As always, feel free to stop by–even if you don’t read the book.  Any level of fiber arts experience welcome: from complete novices to experts.
